BSE Gets Rematch with Father McGivney in South Central 1A Regional Championship Tonight

The Brownstown-St. Elmo Lady Bombers are hunting for revenge tonight as they face Father McGivney in the Championship game of the South Central 1A Regional. The two teams have not met this season, so the sting of a BSE defeat to the Griffins last season by two points in the Regional Championship has lingered for a year. The Lady Bombers knocked off Mt. Olive 59-26 to earn their spot in the title game while Father McGivney beat North Clay 44-18 in the Semifinals. The #2 seed Griffins (21-11) and the #3 seed Lady Bombers (24-6) will tip-off at 6:00pm tonight at South Central High School. The winner goes on to the Lincolnwood Sectional to face the winner of the White Hall (North Greene) Regional Championship between Hardin Calhoun and Nokomis.
