The IHSA Soccer postseason kicks off today with both I70Sports area soccer teams, Altamont and Vandalia, in action today in Class 1A. Altamont, a #5 seed, will host a regional and opens up postseason play this evening at 4:00pm at Altamont Grade School against #11 seed Robinson. The winner of today’s quarterfinal game will take on #2 seed Teutopolis in the first quarterfinal game this Saturday, October 19, at 10:00am. Vandalia, a #10 seed, will be on the road for their quarterfinal matchup of the regional today as they will take on Pana at Tanner Park in Pana at 4:30pm. The winner of that quarterfinal match today will advance to the semifinals to face #1 seed Hillsboro this Saturday, October 19, at 12:00pm at Hillsboro.
