The South Central Falcons volleyball team brought home some big hardware this weekend after finishing 4th at the IESA 7-2A State Tournament in Brimfield. A first round win on Friday over Gardner 25-18, 25-17 guaranteed them a top four finish and two more matches on Saturday. The Falcons suffered a 25-17, 25-9 loss to Mossville in the semifinals to place them into the Third Place match. South Central dropped a close 25-22, 25-12 battle to Champaign St. Matthew in that match to finish in fourth place. The Falcons end their season with a record of 18-8 but with the end of their season, bring home their first ever IESA State trophy.
