Vandalia’s Macy Jones Finishes 40th at IHSA Girls Bowling State Tournament

Vandalia sophomore Macy Jones finished in 40^th at this year’s IHSA Girls Bowling State Tournament held at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, Jones had a first round total of 580 and a second round total of 540 to finish Friday with a two round total of 1,120 and an average of 186.7 as she sat in 64^th at the end of the first day. On the second day, Saturday, Jones came out and bowled her best round with a 602 in round 3 and finished her fourth round with a 589 for a two-day total of 2,311 and two-day average of 192.6 to finish in 40^th place.
