St. Elmo-Brownstown held Patoka-Odin to single digit scoring in three of four quarters on the way to a 64-29 win in the quarterfinals of the Nokomis 1A Regional with SEB hosting the first round game on Saturday night. The Eagles gave up just three points to the Warriors in the first quarter as they took a 14-3 lead before pushing their lead out to 36-14 at halftime. After outscoring Patoka-Odin 18-9 in the third quarter to push their lead out further to 54-23 before a 10-6 run in the fourth would close out the 64-29 win for the Eagles. SEB moves to 20-11 on the season and will advance to the semifinals on Wednesday where they will face host Nokomis at 7:30pm with the winner advancing on to Friday’s championship game.
