The Vandals went 1-2 on the first day of the 3rd and final Vandal Summer Shootout. Vandals Coach Brian Buscher says they are missing a couple of starters this week, so it’s an opportunity for the younger players to step up.
On Day one, the Vandals lost to Nokomis and Carmi in fairly close games and defeated Villa Grove. The Vandals will take on Anna-Jonesboro and Williamsville today before the tournament phase of the shootout gets underway.
