After being pushed back due to a short pause for the Ramsey School District, the Ramsey boys basketball team got play underway in the Rick McGraw Memorial Invitational Tournament at Litchfield High School, falling to Gateway Legacy Christian Academy, 58-21, on Tuesday night. Ramsey stuck close to Gateway Legacy in the first, trailing just 10-7 after the first quarter and being behind 21-13 at halftime. Ramsey ran into offensive issues in the second half though, scoring just 2 points in the 3rd quarter to trail 34-15 going into the 4th quarter before they were outscored 24-6 as Gateway Legacy closed out the game. Ramsey will now play again on Wednesday to finish pool play before the full tournament resumes on Thursday. Ramsey will take on Hillsboro at 6:00pm on Wednesday night.
