The Greenville Comets boys basketball team opened their season on Tuesday with a loss to the Nokomis Redskins at Nokomis. The Comets fall, 50 to 34, with Jack Schaufelberger had 16 points to lead the Comets, who trailed 21 to 15 at halftime. The two teams will turn right around and play again on Saturday night at 6 pm on the first night of the Kaskaskian Classic in Carlyle.
