Jason Clay officially inducted into IWCOA Hall of Fame at annual Banquet Saturday

The high school wrestling career of Coach Jason Clay was capped off very fittingly on Sunday as he officially became a member of the Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Hall of Fame.

Coach Clay has wrapped up his 19 seasons as high school wrestling coach with 504 dual team wins, 15 dual team state tournament appearances and bringing home 6 trophies—including this year’s second place finish. He also had 119 state qualifiers, 44 placewinners and 6 state champions as head coach on the individual side. This was the introduction given to Coach Clay during the ceremony.
