Altamont senior pitcher Grace Lemke collected her fourth no-hitter of the season on Thursday as the Lady Indians beat the CHBC Lady Bobcats 10-0 in National Trail Conference action. Lemke struck out 15 of the 20 batters she faced while the Altamont defense put up another spotless performance to back up the senior on the mound. Four runs in the first inning had Altamont out to an early lead, but the Bobcats would holed the Lady Indians scoreless in both the second and third innings. Altamont scored three more runs in the fourth inning to push their lead to 7-0 and after the Lady Bobcats held Altamont scoreless again in the fifth inning, the Lady Indians were able to push three runs across the plate in the bottom of the sixth inning to trigger the run rule and finish the 10-0 win. Altamont improves to 11-3 on the season and to 3-1 in the NTC. CHBC drops to 1-7 overall on the season and 1-3 in the NTC.
