South Central softball scored early and often as they put nine runs on the scoreboard in the first inning, while SEB struggled at the plate and the Lady Cougars shut out the Lady Eagles 15 to 0 on Tuesday. South Central used four doubles, a triple, a single and a few walks to bring in nine first inning runs for the early 9-0 lead. After a scoreless second inning, the Lady Cougars got back to work and tacked six more runs on the scoreboard for a 15-0 lead. SEB got a leadoff walk from Cami Haslett and a single from Madi Miller in the top of the fourth inning to put runners at the corners with two outs, but a strikeout ended the Eagles scoring threat and the game. South Central improves to 7-6 on the season and will be at Flora today. SEB drops to 0-10 on the season and will host Ramsey today.
