Brownstown-St. Elmo put up four runs in the heart of the game, but suffered a 7 to 4 loss to Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville on Tuesday. After getting down 3-0, the Bombers scored a run in the bottom of the third inning to cut their deficit down to 3-1. BSE then tied the game up at 3-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning. Two OPH runs in the top of the fifth put BSE down two runs again but they pulled back within one as they put another run on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning, trailing 5-4. Two OPH runs put the Bombers down 7-4 which held as the final score after a scoreless seventh inning. With the loss, BSE drops to 3-8 on the season. They will be at home again on Thursday as they added on a game to their scheduled against Cisne.
