Brownstown-St. Elmo tied the game in the top of the seventh but Wayne City walked it off in the bottom half as the Bombers were handed a tough 2 to 1 loss on the road on Saturday. Wayne City broke up the scoreless game with one run in the bottom of the fourth inning as BSE trailed 1-0. Still down by a run to start the seventh inning, the Bombers got a sacrifice fly from Logan Lach in the inning to bring in a run and tie the game up at 1-1. The Indians were able to respond with a run though in the bottom half of the seventh to walk it off and hand BSE the tough 2-1 loss. BSE drops to 3-7 on the season and will be back on the field Tuesday at home as they take on Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville.
