St. Elmo-Brownstown softball scored early but couldn’t stop the Tigers scoring as the Eagles fell to Hustonville-Palestine, 13 to 3, on the road on Wednesday. After the Tigers jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, the Eagles were able to drive in a pair of runs on fly ball to left field by Alexis Holliday that brought one in and a second run scored on a throwing error during the play as SEB cut the Hutsonville-Palestine lead to 4-2. SEB cut into the lead further in the top of the third inning on a RBI groundout from Alivia Claycomb, to cut their deficit to a single run and trail just 4-3.
