CHBC baseball got its first win of the season, beating Odin-Patoka-Sandoval 15 to 3 on Tuesday. The Bobcats scored early with a run in the first that was matched by OPS in the bottom of the first to tie the game up at 1-1. CHBC pulled back ahead with a 3-run second inning to lead 4-1 and pushed seven runs across the plate in the third inning to bust the game open with an 11-1 lead. Another run in the fifth inning had the Bobcats ahead 12-1 before OPS scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth to close the Bobcat lead to 12-3. CHBC tacked on two more runs for good measure in the sixth to edge their lead out further to 15-3 and held OPS scoreless in the bottom half of the inning to close out the win. CHBC is now 1-4 on the season and will play at Mulberry Grove on Thursday.
