Vandalia Girls Track Takes Second; Brown Breaks Own School Record Again


Vandalia girls track finished second as a team in a quad meet at Carlinville on Tuesday while junior thrower Hannah Brown beat her own school record in the Shot Put again. The Lady Vandals finished with 82 points, just four points behind meet host Carlinville who finished with 86. In the Shot Put, Brown had a best toss of 38’ 5.5” as she broke her own school record by a foot and 7.75 inches as her previous record mark was 36’ 9.75”.
