St. Elmo-Brownstown softball was held hitless in their National Trail Conference opener on Monday, falling to Dieterich 15-0. Alivia Claycomb would be the only Lady Eagles baserunner on the day, reaching via a walk. SEB put the ball in play at the plate, with no strikeouts, but were unable to get anything through the tough Dieterich defense. SEB drops to 0-2 on the season and will return to action on Thursday at home when they take on Odin.
