Altamont baseball is 2-0 on the spring after getting a 2-0 win over Sullivan in their first road game of the season. Scoring was non-existent for the first five innings of the game as the Indians would have runners on base in each inning except for the third but were unable to bring any runners across the plate. In the top of the sixth, Brayden Schnaare and Zaine Miller hit back-to-back singles to put two runners on before a double by Cooper McManaway brought both runners in for a 2-0 lead. That would be it for the scoring in the game as Sullivan went scoreless through the sixth and seventh while the Indians went down one, two, three in the top of the seventh. The Indians are now 2-0 to start the season and have a quick turnaround as they go back on the road today to face Carlyle at 10:00am.
