The Altamont Indians used a big 4-run second inning and never looked back, getting a 14-4 win over the Arthur-Lovingwood/Atwoodd-Hammond Knights. Altamont wasted no time getting on the board, as Kade Milleville would double, and back-to-back hit by pitches to Keegan Schultz and Zaine Miller would load the bases for Braden Schnarre, who would draw a walk to score Milleville giving the Indians a 1-0 lead. ALAH would take the lead on a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to give them a 2-1 lead, but Altamont would quickly respond, loading the bases for Schultz, who would clear the bases on a double to retake the lead 4-2. Schnarre would single to score Schultz to make it a 5-2 game. The Knights would add a run in both the third and fourth inning, but the Indians would continue to add on, with an RBI single from Cooper McManaway, and Carson Milleville would reach on an error to make it a 7-4 game. Altamont would score one run in the fifth and six runs in the sixth to come away with the 14-4 win. The Indians improve to 1-0 on the season. They will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Sullivan.
