Altamont Boys and Girls Track With Six Top 10 Finishes at Central Illinois High Performance Classic

Several members of the Altamont boys and girls track teams competed at the Central Illinois High Performance Classic, hosted by Liberty High School at Illinois College on Saturday. The Indians and Lady Indians turned in six top 10 finishes and had 19 PRs in the meet. For the boys, Jacob Veteto took 2^nd place in the Pole Vault, Hayden Bridges finished 3^rd place in the High Jump, the 4×800 relay team of Landen Parker, Juan Fulk, Wyatt Wolff and Hudson Short took 5^th Place, the 4×200 relay team of Hayden Bridges, Jacob Johnson, Trent Tedrick and Jacob Veteto finished in 6^th place and Jacob Johnson took 10^th place in the 400m Dash. For the girls, Kelly Fleeharty finished in 3^rd place in the High Jump. The Indians and Lady Indians will be back in action on Saturday at the Gene Armer Invitational at the University of Illinois Armory.

Jenna Kollman: Shot Put – 17^th Place, 25’ 9”
