Altamont boys basketball wrapped up National Trail Conference play for the season with a 67-53 win at Windsor/Stew-Stras on Thursday night. The Indians got their offensive flow going early with a 14-10 first quarter run for the four point lead. That lead got trimmed down to three points at halftime after the Hatchets used a 19-18 advantage in the quarter to make it a 32-29 ball game at halftime. A 17-13 run in the third quarter by Altamont pushed their lead out to seven points, 49-42, as the game would shift to the fourth quarter where the Indians pulled away with an 18-11 run to close out the 67-53 win. The Indians wrap up NTC regular season play at 6-2 while moving to 17-12 overall on the season. Altamont will wrap up their regular season tonight at home as they host Marshall. They will then open up postseason play at home on Monday against Patoka-Odin.
