Altamont girls basketball was held to just 13 points in the second half as they suffered a 61 to 31 loss to T-Town on Thursday night. Altamont’s Ella Nelson hit two three-pointers in the first quarter as Altamont trailed the Wooden Shoes 11-8 to end the quarter. The Lady Indians put up another 10 points in the second quarter with Kaylee Lurkins hitting for five points in the period, but Altamont continued to trail 27-20 at halftime. Another three from Nelson and a pair of treys from Libby Reardon helped the Lady Indians put another 12 points on the board, but T-Town had their best offensive quarter of the game in the third with 21 points as they pushed their lead to 48-30 over Altamont. The Lady Indians were then held to just a single points in the fourth quarter as they were headed the 61-31 loss. Altamont drops to 12-16 on the season and will have two games next week as part of the last week of the regular season. They will host Father McGivney on Monday night before traveling to Paris on Thursday.
