Vandalia boys basketball opens up play in the Benton Invitational Tournament tonight and will have a tough test in the Quarterfinal round. The Vandals enter the tournament at 8-12 on the season and having lost their last three games. They will have to face Mounds Meridian who is 14-5 on the season and has won their last four games in a row. The winner of the game will take on the winner of Herrin and Sesser-Valier in the Championship Semifinals while the losing team will go into the Consolation side of the bracket to take on the losing team of Herrin and Sesser-Valier. Game tonight at Rich Herrin Gymnasium is set for 6:00pm.
