For the fourth year, Vandalia girls basketball will host their own Vandalia Girls Mid-Winter Tournament with action getting underway today. The tournament will have all four quarterfinal games today before taking a day off and then returning for semifinal games on Wednesday and Thursday. After another day off on Friday, the place games will be held on Saturday. Vandalia is the #5 seed for the tournament, coming in at 12-8 on the season, and will face #4 seed Salem (11-9) in their quarterfinal game at 11:30am. Regardless of a win or a loss, the Lady Vandal will play again om Thursday. We will have the broadcast of the Lady Vandals game today on 107.1 FM WKRV, available streaming at www.vandaliaradio.com and on the Vandalia Radio App.
