Girls National Trail Conference Tournament Opens Today With Quarterfinal Games


The 2025 edition of the National Trail Conference Girls Basketball Tournament will get underway today at Beecher City High School with the preliminary game and three of four quarterfinals games. Action will get underway with #8 seed Dieterich and #9 seed South Central taking on each other at 10:00am with the winner to move into the final quarterfinal game in Tuesday against the #1 seed St. Anthony. After that, quarterfinals games will get started with #2 Brownstown-St. Elmo facing #7 CHBC at 11:30am and #3 Altamont taking on #6 Neoga t 1:00pm with the winners of those two games to move into the Semifinals to face each other on Thursday while the two losing teams will fall into the consolation bracket. In the final quarterfinal game on Monday, #4 Windsor/Stew-Stras will take on #5 North Clay with the winner to take on the winner of Tuesday’s final quarterfinal game. After Monday, the tournament will continue the remainder of the week with an off day on Friday and place games taking place on Saturday.

6:00pm – Game 5: #1 St. Anthony vs. Winner of Game 1

7:30pm – Game 6: Loser of Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2

Wednesday, January 22

6:00pm – Game 7: Loser of Game 4 vs. Loser of Game 5

7:30pm – Game 8: Loser of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 6

Thursday, January 23

6:00pm – Game 9: Winner of Game 4 vs. Winner of Game 5

7:30pm – Game 10: Winner of Game 2 vs. Winner of Game 3

Saturday, January 25

11:30am – 7th Place Game: Loser of Game 7 vs. Loser of Game 8

1:00pm – Consolation Championship: Winner of Game 7 vs. Winner of Game 8
