The Vandals struggle with turnovers for the second straight game, falling to the Flora Wolves, 63-46. The Vandals struggled to score in the first quarter, getting outscored 20-4. Vandalia picked up the defensive intensity, going on a 22-4 run to take a 26-24 lead going into halftime. The Vandals and Wolves matched each other shot for shot in the third quarter, with Flora outscoring Vandalia 23-16 to take a 5-point lead into the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter would be all Flora, as the Wolves would hold the Vandals to just 4 points, and they would close out the game on a 16-4 run to close out the game 63-46. With the loss, the Vandals fall to 8-12 on the season. The Vandals will begin play at the Benton Invitational on Tuesday to take on Mounds Meridian.
