The CHBC Bobcats built up a nice lead and hung on for a 49 to 46 win over Martinsville in Egyptian Illini Conference action on Tuesday night.
The Bobcats jumped out early, with 20 points in the first quarter and led 20 to 10 after the 1st and 30 to 18 at half time. And, they carried a 7 point lead into the 4th quarter. But, CHBC was able to hang on and pick up the victory. For CHBC, they are now 6-9 on the season and 2-0 in the EIC. They will return to action on Saturday afternoon at Oblong to take on OPH.
