South Central had a strong 3rd quarter to build up a double-digit lead and then withstood a 4th quarter rally to pick up a 53 to 49 win on the road over Woodlawn on Tuesday night.
South Central led 20 to 16 at halftime before outscoring Woodlawn 18 to 11 in the 3rd to build up the lead. They were outscored by 7 in the 4th quarter but had enough cushion to withstand it. South Central did struggle at the free throw line as they were just 4 for 18 on the night. South Central improves to 7-2 on the season. South Central now has a break until next Thursday, when they will begin play in the Dieterich Holiday Tournament.
