Vandalia girls basketball will return to the Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran Winterfest Tournament over the Christmas holiday break with this year’s tournament taking on a new format. While it has been a bracketed tournament in the past, this year the 12-team field will be broken up into four pools of three teams that will then feed into three brackets of four teams for bracket play and place games. The Lady Vandals will be in a pool with host Christ Our Rock and Christopher, who is a newcomer to the tournament this year. Vandalia will have one pool play game on each of the tournament’s first two days on Thursday and Friday, December 26 and 27 before playing in a bracket semifinal on December 28 and then a place game on December 30.
