Pool play for the Mulberry Grove Thanksgiving Tournament wraps up tonight with three games on the schedule. In the first matchup at 5:15pm, Ramsey will face Lebanon as each team will be looking to get their first win of the season and of the tournament. The winner of the game will go to Saturday’s 5th Place Game while the loser would go to the 7th Place Game. At 6:45pm, South Central takes on Father McGivney with a berth in the Championship game on the line. Both teams are 2-0 in pool play so a win means a spot in the title game while the losing team will go to the Third Place Game on Saturday. And in the final pool play game at 8:15pm, tournament host Mulberry Grove and defending tournament champion St. Elmo-Brownstown. The Aces are 1-1 and the Eagles are 2-0 in pool play so a Mulberry Grove win would create a three-way tie amongst the two teams and Maryville Christian who went 2-0 in pool play sending the place game assignments to the tie breaking factors. An SEB win in the game would put them in the Championship game while Mulberry Grove would then go to the 5th Place Game on Saturday. We will have the broadcast of all three games tonight from the Mulberry Grove Tournament on 107.1 FM WKRV and streaming live at VandaliaRadio.com and on the VandaliaRadio app.
