The first Hecht Chevrolet/I70Sports Game of the Week for the Winter 2024-2025 sports season is set for tonight as the Vandalia Lady Vandals will host the Altamont Lady Indians in the season opener for both teams. The Lady Vandals went 8-22 last season while the Lady Indians would go 28-7 to finish 3rd at the 1A State Tournament. Vandalia returns all but two players from last year’s team while Altamont graduated four seniors from last year’s squad. The junior varsity game will get underway at 6:00pm and then we will have the broadcast of the Varsity game at about 7:30pm on 107.1FM WKRV and streaming at www.vandaliaradio.com and on the VandaliaRadio app.
