Our Pro Wire Athlete of the Week for October 19 is the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Boys Cross Country team.
On Tuesday, October 15, the CHBC boys cross country team captured their second straight National Trail Conference Cross Country Team Title. The Bobcats would finish with a score of 30, coming in ahead of St. Anthony with 37 and Dieterich with 81. Junior August Cosart would take the Individual Title coming in first with sophomore Senior Aiden Wallace and freshman Deacon Sutter would turn in top 10 finishes at sixth and ninth and sophomore Porter Lilly finished 14th, freshman Kaiden Garrido finished 16th and freshman Charlie Witteborg came in 35th for CHBC. The Bobcats compete in the Trojan Classic today in Charleston as their final regular season meet before they will compete for a Regional title next Saturday at Shelbyville.
