The 2024 National Trail Conference All-Conference Baseball Team was announced on Thursday with 10 athletes from I70Sports.com area schools earning honors. This year’s MVP is pitcher Brock Fearday from the St. Anthony Bulldogs who went undefeated in regular season conference play and won the conference tournament championship on Saturday. Senior pitcher and shortstop Callaway Smith from the tournament runner-up South Central Cougars and junior pitcher and shortstop Kade Milleville of the Altamont Indians were both named to the NTC First Team. Five athletes were named to the NTC Second Team including South Central first baseman Colton Smith, South Central catcher Maddox Robb, CHBC pitcher and infielder Kyle Lamb, CHBC catcher Wyatt Rueff and Altamont pitcher and third baseman Dyson Wagner. On the Honorable Mention team are Altamont infielder Brayden Elam, BSE pitcher and infielder Corey Hoopingarner and CHBC first baseman and pitcher AJ Radloff. Also announced along with the All-Conference team was Coach of the Year with St. Anthony Coach Tony Kreke and North Clay Coach John Frech sharing Coach of the Year honors.
