Grace Lemke – The Altamont Lady Indians pitcher continued to put up big numbers in her junior year, amassing 339 strikeouts and a 0.991 ERA this Spring while she allowed an average of just 2.31 hits and 2.26 runs per game. Lemke now stands at 729 career strikeouts heading into her senior season. Lemke got the job done at the plate too, with a .301 batting average, on base percentage of 0.393 and 0.466 slugging percentage.

 

Taegan Webster –Senior pitcher Taegan Webster was as strong a dual threat as you could imagine for the Cougars.  In the circle, she was 19-9 with a 2.79 ERA and 250 strikeouts in 157 2/3 innings.  At the plate, she was one of the top hitters in the area with an incredible .460/.575/.885 slash line with 10 doubles, 2 triples, 7 HRs and 45 RBI in helping to lead South Central to 24 wins and a regional championship.
