Seven I70Sports.com area athletes have been named to this year’s National Trail Conference Girls Basketball All-Conference Team and one has been named the NTC’s Most Valuable Player while an I70Sports.com area coach has been named Coach of the Year. Leading this year’s First Team NTC All-Conference is Altamont senior Grace Nelson who has been named the conference’s Most Valuable Player. Joining Nelson on the Frist Team are Brownstown-St. Elmo’s Lexi Seabaugh, a senior, and Dayana Haslett, a freshman, and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City junior Macee Rodman. South Central senior Taegan Webster has been named Second Team All-Conference while Altamont senior Peyton Osteen and CHBC senior Ruby Stuckemeyer have both been named All-Conference Honorable Mention. And after a 26-8 season, Brownstown-St. Elmo coach Tim Pasley has been named this year’s NTC Girls Basketball Coach of the Year.
