Ramsey girls basketball grabbed a second quarter lead but couldn’t hold off Lincolnwood in the second half, falling to the Lancers, 36-32, at home on Tuesday night. Lincolnwood took a first quarter lead over the Lady Rams, 9-6, but Ramsey came back strong in the second quarter and outscored the Lancers 11-6 to pull ahead, 17-15, at halftime. A back and forth battle ensued through the third quarter with Lincolnwood taking the slight 13-12 advantage in the quarter to cur the Rams lead down to just one, 29-28, heading into the fourth quarter. The Rams were held to just three points in the fourth and were outscored 8-3 as Lincolnwood came back to hand Ramsey the 36-32 loss. Ramsey drops to 4-13 on the season and will play their second home game of the week on Thursday when they hose South Fork on Thursday.
