Ramsey girls basketball got a win in their first home game in just over a month, beating Piasa Southwestern 44-31 on Tuesday night. The Lady Rams led early getting themselves ahead 6-2 at the end of a low scoring first quarter. They outscored the Birds 10-6 in the second quarter to double up Piasa with a 16-8 lead at halftime. Ramsey again held Piasa to single digit scoring in the third quarter, 11-5, and saw their lead grow to 27-13. Both teams would catch fire offensively in the fourth quarter with Southwestern having an 18-17 edge in the quarter, but Ramsey closed out the 44-31 win. The Rams move to 4-9 with the win and go back on the road Thursday to take on Oblong/Palestine/Hutsonville at Oblong High School.
