Vandalia Cheer Competes at ICCA State Championship

The Vandalia High School cheerleading squad competed at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association State Championships this past weekend in Springfield. The Vandals competed in the Small Varsity GameDay division and finished in 11^th place, missing the top 10 by just two-hundredths of a point. They also competed in the Small Varsity (Competition Routine) division and finished 18^th out of 39 teams. Next up for the Lady Vandals will be competition in the IHSA Sectionals. Vandalia has been assigned to the Mt. Vernon Sectional.
