Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City boys basketball dropped to 1-1 in the National Trail Conference, falling at St. Anthony 81-46 on Tuesday. St. Anthony pulled away early, taking a 32-9 lead over CHBC at the end of the first quarter. The Bobcats would come back and outscore the Bulldogs 24-21 in the second quarter, but still trailed St. Anthony 53-33 at halftime. CHBC would fall further behind in the second half as St. Anthony outscored the Bobcats 28-13 across the third and fourth quarters to close the door on the CHBC, 81-46. CHBC drops to 4-3 on the season and is now 1-1 in the NTC. They will be on the road again on Friday for another NTC matchup at Dieterich.
