Brownstown-St. Elmo Girls Basketball was in action on Wednesday in the Effingham girls basketball summer shootout. BSE went 1-2 on the day but Coach Tim Pasley said they were right there in each game.
BSE lost close games to Newton and Sullivan and defeated Altamont. The BSE JV girls went 3-0 in action on Monday defeating Mt.Carmel, East Alton Wood River, and Effingham.
