Recent Altamont High School graduate Kienon Eirhart will continue his baseball career at the collegiate level, signing to play for Greenville University on Monday afternoon. The first baseman says the atmosphere with the GU baseball team and the campus drew him to Greenville.
And after four years of baseball at Altamont High School, Eirhart says he is looking forward to improving all areas of his game at GU.
Eirhart had a strong senior season for the Indians, finishing the season with a .333 batting average. .408 on base percentage, 29 hits, 30 RBI and also had a .986 fielding percentage.
