The Vandals Football season saw some new records set.
Vandals Senior Carson Ruot caught 56 passes during the season for a total of 904 yards and 16 TDs. That number of catches is a new record for a single seasonand the receiving TDs ties the school record. His receiving yards is 3rd most in a season, behind Marcus Zimmerman’s total from the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
Vandals Junior Matthew Hagy finished the year at 136 of 253 for 1889 yards 24 TDs and 7 INTs. That is the most completions ever in a single season, the 3rd most yards and tied for the most passing TDs in a season. Matthew also ran for 1077 yards and 17 TDs. And, the combine yard and TD total of 2966 yards and 41 TDs are both new records.
