Parkland College Women’s Basketball wins, moves to Elite Eight

Parkland College Women used a big second half to beat Muskegon and advance to the Elight Eight of the NJCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Tournament.  After trailing by one at halftime, Parkland rolled in the 2nd half and held Muskegon to just 12 second half points.  Parkland is the #6 seed while Muskegon was the #11 seed.  Parkland will play #14 seed Union County College at 6 pm on Wednesday evening.  BSE standout Claire Wilhour played 12 minutes in the game had 3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.
