Our Peoples State Bank Fayette County Athletes of the Week are Jarek Wehrle, Anthony Enlow and Garrett Austin.
Jarek Wehrle this season: 46-3 for the season. 1st Place at Civic Memorial Tournament, 1st Place at Princeton Invitational and 1st Place at the Litchfield Invitational. Regional Champion and Sectional Champion. 4th Place at IHSA Individual State Finals.
Anthony Enlow this season: 25-1 for the season. 1st Place at Princeton Invitational and Upperweight Most Outstanding Wrestler for PIT as well. Regional Champion and Sectional Champion. 3rd Place at IHSA Individual State Finals.
Garrett Austin this season: Vandals leading scorer and rebounder and was 2nd on the team in assists. He was named to the All Tournament Team in all 3 tournaments in which the Vandals participated in (Cumberland Thanksgiving Tournament, Vandalia Holiday Tournament and Benton Invitational Tournament). Garrett was also named 1st team All-South Central Conference.
